FAIRYTALE FIGHTS is an XBOX 360 and PS3 title developed and published by the now bankrupted studio Playlogic Game Factory. I was both a part time and full time employee at the studio for almost two years, working alongside university to pay for my education.

For roughly four months I worked on assets for FAIRYTALE FIGHTS, and optimized every character in the game (more than 100 characters). I also retextured assets, both objects and environmental assets, and made lightmap UVs, cleaned up and baked normal maps, and on some occasions created models from scratch.

For the remainder of my employment, I worked on DLC content for the game, but it was unfortunately scrapped by the publisher and never saw the light of day.

Working with Chris was a blast, he is one of the most talented students I have ever worked with. He’s very clever, talented, funny and a really quick learner. A great colleague to work with overall. While I was coordinating the 3D team he often was the go-to guy for fixing mistakes made by other (fulltime!) employees. He has shown to be a talented technical modeler and often proved to offer fresh insight and original solutions. Despite all the fixing and optimizing work I had him do, he never complained. When I did allow him to make something from scratch, it was always right on the money. I sincerely hope to work with him again in the future!
