Rayman Jungle Run
A small studio in Paris called Pastagames worked with Ubisoft to create a mobile title called RAYMAN JUNGLE RUN. While I was still working on RAYMAN LEGENDS, the team of 11 designers from the Rayman team in Ubisoft Montpellier were put on a mission to design most of the game’s 40 levels over the course of a week, during which I designed three levels for the game. RAYMAN JUNGLE RUN won the App Store’s Best Game Award 2012.
Once the game was released, Ubisoft Casablanca continued creating more levels for the game, and I was asked to review the new levels regularly and provide feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Rayman Fiesta Run
Ubisoft Casablanca then began to produce the direct sequel RAYMAN FIESTA RUN, and I was tasked with helping the game design team with new features such as powerups and a unique world map. The goal was to make the game more accessible and more open than the previous game as well as providing a better sense of progress. Apart from some additional game design, I was again asked to review and provide feedback on the quality of the levels produced by the team in Casablanca.
