Warcraft III Modding

Role: Animator
Duties: Animation, Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Particle FX, Community Moderation

From 2006 until 2008, before I entered university, I taught myself how to use 3DsMax to rig and animate 3D models. Once I began showing my first animations on the bigger Warcraft III modding websites, an increasingly large amount of users requested animation work from me.

During a two year period I have worked as a part of numerous mod projects, led a few and have been both a moderator and respected user on the two largest Warcraft III modding communities online: Warcraft III Campaigns, and The Hive Workshop. On this page is a small selection of over 30 assorted models I animated over the course of the two years. Any particles and special effects are also done by me in 3DsMax.

Please keep in mind that I was not aware of IK Animation at the time, so everything you see here is completely FK hand animation. I have since learned and applied more efficient and advanced animation techniques.
